I torched my first village after the first day and moved on
I chose to get an early start, moving on in the night, in order to more easily locate the next village to tribute to THE SUN GOD
dashing through an empty plain filled only with savage beasts and endless night
morning came, my glorious burning god, just as another village came into view on the horizon - the shining visage of my god guiding me to its next tribute
then I found two blacksmiths and got enough obsidian to make a nether portal already jfc that was TOO EASY
